John J. Zidziunas, Esq.Member
Mr. Zidziunas concentrates his practice in all aspects of employment law litigation including claims for racial and gender discrimination, sexual harassment, whistleblowing, pregnancy/disability discrimination, religious discrimination, political affiliation discrimination and First Amendment violations. Mr. Zidziunas has experience in all phases of complex civil litigation, both state and federal, and has successfully tried cases to a conclusion from both a plaintiff and defendant’s perspective. Mr. Zidziunas also has an extensive background in the area of business to business litigation.
Prior to opening his own practice, Mr. Zidziunas was an associate with a large law firm in New Jersey. During that time, Mr. Zidziunas tried, arbitrated and settled numerous cases in the areas of employment litigation and insurance law. As an associate, Mr. Zidziunas co-authored the article “Workplace Discrimination: Does the Law Require an Investigation?”
While in law school, Mr. Zidziunas was a Member of the Moot Court Honor Society and represented Seton Hall Law’s Interscholastic Moot Court Board in a national constitutional law tournament at the University of Wisconsin, finishing as a quarterfinalist. Mr. Zidziunas was a law clerk to the Honorable Barbara A. Curran, J.S.C., in the Civil Division of Hudson County. He also served as an intern with the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office. Prior to attending law school, John was a corporate and securities law paralegal with Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft in New York City.
Aside from his trial advocacy skills, Mr. Zidziunas is frequently retained to draft employment agreements, handbooks, non-compete / non-solicitation agreements and privacy agreements for large corporations and startups.
