On March 9, 2026, after a five-week trial in Manhattan federal court, a jury of six men and six women convicted all three brothers on every count they faced. Oren and Alon Alexander were each convicted on twelve counts. Tal Alexander was convicted on ten counts. Each brother faces a minimum of fifteen years in federal prison, with the possibility of a life sentence. Sentencing is set for August 6, 2026 before U.S. District Judge Valerie E. Caproni.

FBI agents arrest all three brothers in Miami Beach, Florida. Oren and Alon are charged together; Tal faces separate charges. All three are indicted by the Southern District of New York on charges including conspiracy to commit sex trafficking and sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion — each carrying a maximum sentence of life in prison.
The brothers are held without bail and transferred to Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center, where they remained throughout the proceedings.

May 2025

Oren, Tal, and Alon receive additional criminal charges, including sex trafficking of a minor.

January 2026

Trial begins before Judge Caproni. Over the next five weeks, jurors hear testimony from more than 30 witnesses, including 11 women who say they were sexually assaulted by one or more of the brothers.

March 9, 2026

After approximately eight hours of deliberation, the jury delivers guilty verdicts on all counts. The brothers showed no visible emotion as the verdicts were read. Sentencing is set for August 6, 2026.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Madison Smyser told jurors in opening statements: "The brothers used whatever means necessary — sometimes drugs, sometimes alcohol, sometimes brute force — to carry out their rapes." Prosecutor Andrew Jones described the brothers as having "masqueraded as party boys when really they were predators."

Among the disturbing details presented at trial:

One woman testified she met the brothers at a party at a celebrity's Manhattan apartment, later woke up naked in a room with Alon Alexander standing over her, and told him she had not consented. "Haha, you already did," she recalled him responding.
Another testified that Alon Alexander raped her in Aspen in 2017 when she was 17 years old, describing graphic details of the assault. "I was so scared," she told the court. "He just did what he wanted."
A third woman described being invited to the Hamptons by Tal Alexander through a friend, being drugged in a hot tub, and then assaulted by Tal and another man.
Prosecutors introduced a video Oren Alexander himself filmed, which they said depicted him sexually assaulting a drugged 17-year-old. He was convicted of sexually exploiting a minor partly on the basis of this evidence.
Evidence also included blog posts the brothers wrote with titles prosecutors cited as evidence of their attitudes toward sexual violence.

In total, more than 60 women accused one or more of the brothers of rape over the course of the proceedings. Eleven testified at trial.
